Jano D. Banks
Jano Banks is the co-founder of Radiient and has served on the Radiient Board of Directors since the company’s founding in July 2005. Mr. Banks served as president of Radiient from 2005 to 2007 and added the roles of CEO and Chairman of the Board in April 2007.
Bradley J. Bozarth
Bradley Bozarth is Chief Technical Officer of Radiient and has served on the Radiient Board of Directors since October 2009. Mr. Bozarth has held an engineering role at Radiient since 2005.
Board of Advisors
George Samenuk
George Samenuk has served as an advisor to Radiient since July 2007, having been an investor in the company since its initial funding round. Mr. Samenuk served as chairman and CEO of McAfee®, Inc. (NYSE: MFE) from 2001 to 2006. Before McAfee, he served as president and CEO of Tradeout, a privately held global online exchange for business surplus, and held various senior management positions at IBM Corporation. Mr. Samenuk holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Brown University.
Paul Wiefels
Paul Wiefels has served as an advisor to Radiient since November 2007. Mr. Wiefels has served as managing director of The Chasm Group LLC since its founding in 1993. He is the author of "The Chasm Companion," first published by HarperCollins in 2002 as a field book to "Crossing the Chasm” and “Inside the Tornado," authored by Geoffrey A. Moore. Prior to joining The Chasm Group, Mr. Wiefels held management positions with Landor Associates, Ingres Corporation, and Apple. Mr. Wiefels also serves on the board for the Taproot Foundation. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA from USC's Marshall School of Business.
Kevin J. Surace
Kevin Surace has served as an advisor to Radiient since December 2007. Mr. Surace has served as President and CEO of Serious Materials since 2002. Prior to joining Serious Materials, Mr. Surace served as CEO of Perfect Commerce, EVP at General Magic, CEO of Air Communications and WebKnight, and held various positions at IBM, National Semiconductor and Seiko-Epson. Mr. Surace also serves on the boards of FreeLight, Beyond Energy, and Integrity Block. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology and has been awarded multiple patents.
Paul Heninwolf
Paul Heninwolf has served as an advisor to Radiient since June 2009, having been an investor and friend of the company since its inception. Mr. Heninwolf was the primary inventor of HDMI and chair of the HDMI technical committee. Prior to this work, Mr. Heninwolf held a variety of senior management and senior engineering positions in the consumer electronics and IT industries. More recently, as VP of Strategic Marketing at Blue Joule Technologies, Mr. Heninwolf has been working toward the smooth integration of renewable energy into the residential and commercial environments and, as a board member of the non-profit Local Energy, has been helping schools and communities profitably adopt renewables.
Thomas B. Mader, Ph.D.
Tom Mader has served as an advisor to Radiient since October 2009. Prior to that time, Dr. Mader served on the Radiient Board of Directors and as Chief Technology Officer, beginning in February 2007. Dr. Mader was instrumental in helping move Radiient's wireless technology from demo to prototype to a productizable system. He currently serves as Vice President of engineering at Picarro, helping create advanced optical gas analyzers. Prior to joining Radiient, Dr. Mader served as principal engineer at Intel, director of engineering at LightLogic, and held various technical positions at Hughes Space and Communications and Apple. While at Intel, Mader was the catalyst for the addition of high-speed optical communications to the USB 3.0 specification. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from U.C. Berkeley, and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Mader holds 12 granted U.S. patents.
