About Radiient Technologies
Headquartered in Santa Clara, Calif., Radiient Technologies develops digital entertainment technologies that simplify and enhance the consumer audio and video experience. Founded in July, 2005, the company’s mission is to reduce and eventually remove all AV cables in consumers’ homes. Radiient built its reputation by developing high-quality switches and distribution devices for High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI), a technology that was co-invented by Radiient’s founder, Jano Banks. Having demonstrated its capabilities in HDMI, Radiient has since turned its focus to achieving wirelessly what it achieved with HDMI. The result is THX Roomcaster, a digital UWB-based technology that enables true wireless surround sound that is a snap to set up and use. First demonstrated at the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show, and unveiled as THX Roomcaster at CES 2009, Radiient’s breakthrough wireless surround sound technology has been lauded as the “Holy Grail” of home aduio, delivering truly wireless surround sound that is impervious to signal disruptions while delivering fidelity comparable to wired systems. |
